Training Session on Accessibility on Greenways. From Accessibility to Experience: Greenways for All

The session focuses on accessibility, inclusive tourism, and universaldesign on greenways, providing participants with practical knowledge, tools, and European examples.

• Welcome and introduction — Presentation of the session and its objectives.
• Accessibility applied to greenways and nature tourism — Key concepts, accessibility standards and regulations, accessible tourism trends, business opportunities, the ALL FOR ALL programme, and practical tools and goodpractices available from Turismo de Portugal.
• Good practice: Accessibility on the Spanish Greenways Network — Presentation of an example of accessibility in Spain.
• European Greenways Association — International perspective on accessibility, emerging trends, quality criteria, European examples, and opportunities forfunding and networking.
• Discussion and closing — Exchange of experiences and questions.

Main objective: To strengthen the capacity of greenway and tourism professionals to develop more accessible, inclusive, and high-quality greenway experiences for all users.
