“Cycling and Sustainable Tourism Conference 2026”

• September 30 – October 1, 2026, at the castle in Central Bohemian spa town Poděbrady, Czechia

The theme of this year’s conference will be the development and marketing of cycling tourism and cycling tourism products in the Czechia and abroad as an ideal form of sustainable tourism. Conference will be accompanied by the experiential cycling tour along the Elbe Greenway in Central Bohemia, featuring an attractive combination of cycling and boating.

The event is held with financial support from the Ministry of Regional Development of the Czech Republic, the Central Bohemian Region, the Pojizeří a Polabí Association, and the town of Poděbrady.

30. 9. 2026 An interactive cycling tour of the Elbe Greenway in the Central Bohemian Region combining boat and bike:

13:00 boat trip Poděbrady – Nymburk with refresments

14:00 pick up bicycles in Nymburk

14:30 – 18:30 cycle tour along Elbe Greenway Nymburk  – new cycle bridge Kostomlaty – Hradištko and back to Podebrady (28 km)

15:00 opening of ccle bridge Kostomlaty – Hradištko

19:00 diner with program on the boat Král Jiří with town sight seing
