Vila Pouca de Aguiar is a Portuguese is a municipality in northern Portugal’s Alto Tâmega region (district of Vila Real).
The Municipality of Vila Pouca de Aguiar that has a total area of 437,07 km2, 11.813 inhabitants and a population density of 27 inhabitants per km2, subdivided in 14 parishes.
Vila Pouca de Aguiar promotes its natural and cultural assets, including:

- Spa and wellness tourism (e.g., Pedras Salgadas area)
Its main greenway is Ecopista da Linha do Corgo, that follows a historic rail corridor that once linked the interior Trás-os-Montes region with the Douro Valley and Spain. Ecopista connects Vila Real ↔ Vila Pouca de Aguiar ↔ Chaves and is used for cycling, walking, and leisure activities.
