‘Sanok River Unites’ Us Association / Stowarzyszenie Łączy Nas Sanok

Stowarzyszenie Łączy Nas Sanok is a civic association that has been operating since 2019. Its primary area of activity is the historic Sanok region, especially the city of Sanok and other communities within Sanok County.

The association’s main goals include:

  • Promoting and preserving the region’s local identity and heritage.
  • Supporting sustainable development (eco-development).
  • Protecting the natural environment.
  • Encouraging active recreation and outdoor activities. 

A major focus of the organization is the development of a connected cycling network linking Sanok with surrounding towns and villages. The association is particularly active in supporting Velo San, a proposed greenway along the San River valley. Velo San is a proposed long-distance cycling route following the San River valley through the Podkarpackie region of southeastern Poland. It is both a tourism project and a regional-development initiative aimed at connecting towns, natural attractions, and cultural heritage sites along the San.
