The Tâmega and Corgo International Ecovia in Portugal was awarded with the 12 Euroepan Greenways Award 2025. The 55 km ecopista, connecting Chaves, Vila Pouca de Aguiar, and Vila Real, was recognized for repurposing a former railway line into an accessible tourism infrastructure that enhances local heritage, nature, and gastronomy.
