SERVICE PUBLIC DE WALLONIE – MOBILITÉ ET INFRASTRUCTURES
The SPW Mobilité et Infrastructures (SPW MI) is the Walloon Public Service department responsible for mobility, transport infrastructure, roads, waterways, and sustainable transport policies in Wallonia (Belgium). Created in 2019 through the merger of several regional administrations, it is one of the largest entities within the Walloon Government.
SPW Mobilité et Infrastructures is a key institutional partner for greenways and active mobility in Wallonia. Through the RAVeL programme and its active mobility policies, it supports the conversion of former railway corridors and towpaths into safe, accessible routes for cyclists, walkers, horse riders, and people with reduced mobility. These initiatives contribute to sustainable tourism, territorial connectivity, public health, and environmental protection.
