Elbe River Greenway – Labska stezka
Countries: Czechia, Germany
The Elbe Trail is one of Europe’s most attractive long-distance cycling routes, following the course of the Elbe River from its source in the Krkonoše Mountains to the North Sea. Stretching approximately 1,300 km through the Czech Republic and Germany, it combines outstanding natural landscapes, cultural heritage, and excellent cycling infrastructure.
The Czech section covers around 370 km, passing through historic towns and cities, river landscapes, vineyards, castles, and protected natural areas. Highlights include the dramatic sandstone scenery of Bohemian Switzerland National Park, the spectacular Porta Bohemica, and historic cities such as Litoměřice, Děčín, Dresden, Hamburg, and Prague via a signed connection.
