Réseau vélo et marche / Association Vélo & Territoires

The Réseau vélo et marche (Cycling and Walking Network) is the national French network representing local and regional authorities committed to active mobility. It was created in 2025 through the merger of two long-standing organisations: the Club des villes et territoires cyclables et marchables and Vélo & Territoires, bringing together more than 450 municipalities, intermunicipalities, departments, and regions across France.

The network works to make cycling and walking central elements of public policy, supporting the transition towards more sustainable, inclusive, and healthier mobility. It promotes active travel as a way to improve quality of life, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and create more liveable communities.
