DGO – AMENAGEMENT DU TERRITOIRE, DU LOGEMENT, DU PATRIMOINE ET DE L’ENERGIE; DEPARTEMENT DE L’AMENAGEMENT DU TERRITOIRE ET DE L’URBANISME
The SPW Territoire (Walloon Public Service for Territory) is the regional authority responsible for spatial planning, territorial development, urban planning, and sustainable land management in Wallonia (Belgium). Its mission is to help shape a balanced, attractive, resilient, and sustainable territory while supporting local authorities, citizens, and stakeholders in planning and development processes.
SPW Territoire contributes to the Walloon Government’s objective of creating a more attractive, connected, sustainable, and resilient Wallonia by 2050, balancing economic development, quality of life, environmental protection, and efficient use of land resources.
The department plays an important role in supporting sustainable mobility, landscape conservation, ecological connectivity, and the redevelopment of former transport corridors, making it a key institutional partner for greenways, cycling routes, and other non-motorised infrastructure projects across Wallonia.
