The Pays de Herve (Land of Herve) is a natural and rural region in eastern Wallonia (Belgium), located between the Vesdre and Meuse rivers, close to the borders with the Netherlands and Germany. It is a gently rolling plateau known for its distinctive bocage landscape, made up of hedgerows, meadows, orchards, and small traditional farms. The Pays de Herve is a green, agricultural heritage landscape where visitors can explore orchards, villages, and historic sites while enjoying local food traditions and a dense network of cycling and walking routes.
The region is crossed by major greenway and cycling corridors, including former railway lines such as the RAVeL network and Line 38, which form the backbone of active mobility in the area.
Objective of the organization: Tourism promotion. Tourist reception and information.
The awarded greenway of Wallonie – (RAVel L38/L39) passes through the Pays d’Herve.
